throughout the entire production process, while allowing as many
children and youth as possible to participate in all facets of
theatre arts. Blackberry Little Theatre hopes to instill in each
participant a lifelong appreciation of theatre arts.
Company Statement
Blackberry Little Theatre promotes fair casting. BLT seeks to insure
all auditions are conducted according to the highest moral
standards. All persons involved in Blackberry Little Theatre
productions, workshops, and classes will be treated with the utmost
respect and professionalism at all times. All persons involved in
BLT productions, workshops, and classes will be given equal
opportunities to further their knowledge of theatre arts during the
production process.
Why “Blackberry” Little Theatre?
Blackberries are pervasive in our area. Hillsides, fields, empty
lots – these hardy plants grow vigorously. Blackberries tolerate
poor soil, and begin to produce fruit in their second year.
We definitely hope that Blackberry Little Theatre will produce
fruit. We know that it may take a while to see the product, but we
are focused, frugal, and determined to harvest the many rewards of
youth theatre, and share them with you.
